Our commitment
The Law Office of Giancarlo A. Pinto, P.A. wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website, learn about our services, and contact us. We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time project.
The standard we aim for
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and we continue to evaluate and improve the website. WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA are the standards most widely used to evaluate website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
How the website is built
- Pages and the case review form are designed to work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Pages use headings, landmarks, and labels to support screen readers such as VoiceOver, JAWS, and NVDA.
- Colors were chosen to meet WCAG contrast requirements, and selected answers are marked with a check, not by color alone.
- The layout adapts to small screens and to text enlarged to 200%.
- Form fields have visible labels, required fields are identified, and errors are explained in text.
- There are no time limits, and animation is reduced for people who turn on “reduce motion” in their device settings.
- The full website is available in English and Spanish, and each page identifies its language for assistive technology.
- We do not use automated “accessibility overlay” widgets, which can interfere with the assistive technology people already use.
How we have tested it
In November 2026 we checked every page with the axe automated accessibility checker, completed the case review form in English and Spanish using only a keyboard, measured the contrast of text over photographs, and checked the layout on a 320-pixel-wide screen.
Known limitations
We have not yet completed a full manual accessibility audit, including testing with screen readers and by people with disabilities. Automated and keyboard testing cannot find every problem, so some issues may exist that we don’t yet know about. If you find one, please let us know using the contact details below.
Content from third parties that we link to, such as social media, is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
