How much does it cost to hire a personal injury lawyer?

Your consultation is free. We work on a contingency fee, which means you pay no attorney’s fee unless we recover money for you.

What if I’m partially at fault?

You may still be able to recover. Florida reduces compensation based on each person’s share of fault, and in some situations a high share of fault can bar recovery entirely. It’s worth getting your situation reviewed before assuming you don’t have a case.

How long do I have to bring a claim?

Florida law sets strict deadlines for injury claims, and some claims, such as those against government entities, have shorter notice requirements. Missing a deadline can end your claim, so talk to a lawyer as soon as you can.

Do I have to go to court?

Most personal injury cases resolve without a trial. We prepare every case as if it could go to court, because that preparation is often what leads to a fair settlement. If trial is the right path, we’ll explain why and what to expect.

How long will my case take?

It depends on your injuries, how long treatment lasts, and how the insurance company responds. Some cases resolve in months; cases that go to litigation can take longer. We’ll give you an honest estimate once we understand your situation, and keep you updated along the way.

What should I do after an accident?
  • Get to safety and call 911 if anyone is hurt.
  • Get medical care promptly, even if you feel fine.
  • Photograph the scene, vehicles, and injuries, and collect witness contact details.
  • Report the accident and ask for the report number.
  • Don’t give a recorded statement to the other driver’s insurer before talking to a lawyer.
